Galerie Newbury was founded in 2005 on prime Newbury Street in Boston. Axelle took over Haley & Steele’s old space after it occupied the premises for nearly 60 years. Designed by renowned New England architect firm Prellwitz / Chilinski Associates, the gallery underwent a six months complete renovation. Axelle has established itself as an iconic gallery on Newbury Street, earning the “Best Boston Gallery” award in 2010.
